Below you will find some references written by families who have purchased babies from us. We try very hard to find just the right home for our babies. We know that it is very hard to trust a breeder that you have never met and hope you feel more comfortable after being able to see some of our happy homes. If you have purchased a baby from us and would like to send us a letter to go on this page we would love to hear from you.
Robyn,
I just can't describe all the joy we have experienced over the holiday season this year with our new baby. My boys left Christmas day, so we are still negotiating a name. They are back today, so we should be finalizing the list shortly. I got to spend nearly 11 solid days with him before heading back to work. He went with me EVERYWHERE over that time. Everybody adores him and always asks out here (while burried in my coat to stay warm) 'Is he a Weimaraner?'.
I was simply shocked at how he was already partially house broken. Now he is doing VERY well with it and promptly and quickly goes when taken outside. Not sure if you have seen it on the news, but over the last two weeks, we have had the coldest and most snow in the Albuquerque area since the '50s - so that has help reinforce to our cajun pup that go outside in the cold and snow and you immediately get to go inside where it is warm. Now he hurdles back to the door after doing his business.
I am including our Christmas picture and my favorite I have taken that is now on my work computer. He got many Christmas presents (most which were still too large for him to enjoy yet), special doggie blankets from Grandma, Christmas food dishes just his size - and his favorite to play with was STILL the wrapping paper and the leaves. Just like having a baby again. HAHA
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas with family and puppies. I will continue to update you as he grows. I may even be sending business your way as several have asked for your site so far. Thanks for providing a beautiful, well cared for baby!

Robyn,
Well we finally came up with a name for our
"Doxie", thanks to you.....His name is
Gumbo.......Cheryl broke out into tears of joy
when she saw him.....my son Kyle had Gumbo wrapped
in a blanket with his little head poking out when
he walked in to the kitchen and wished Cheryl a
Merry Christmas. I can't express how precious that
moment was...it really cheered up the whole
household after losing our Shadow (black & tan
smooth) after 12 good years. Suffice to say Gumbo
has gone to a good loving home. Merry Belated
Christmas and a very Happy New Year!!!!
Attached is a few pics of Gumbo, I'm sure you
remember this one....he was one of the two
brothers from Annabelle & Bam Bam.
All the best,
p.s. We found the Chicken Soup for the Soul puppy
food at the feed store in Ocean Springs. He's at
the vet right now for his shot.........

Hi Robyn...I just wanted to send a few pictures of Laci...we are trying to put up our decorations and she is there to help. She is such a great pup with a great personality we really love her. My husband emailed you earlier asking you about Annabelles pups..they are so cute. We are seriously thinking of getting another pup...maybe a male..although I love the blue/tan female. We just arent sure whether to get one now or wait till spring. My vet is so impressed by Laci he told me the other day to please use the same breeder. Also the 6 week old pick of the litter pup you have on your puppy page is she for sale? She is sooo cute. I work in a nursing home so most days Laci comes with me and the residents just love her...and Laci loves everyone..I will keep in touch because I know sooner or later we will be getting another pup..

Hey Robin...
I just wanted to let you know that our little Molly is doing soooo good!
She has stolen our hearts and is already spoiled rotten!
She is asleep in her little carrying bag right beside my desk at this very minute!
I take her everywhere with me!
Thanks so much!
Megan
Dear Robyn,
I want to thank you and Scott so much for all your help these past few months. I got my first puppy from you at a time in my life when I was just struggling out of what seemed a bottom-less pit. The benefits of all that pet therapy is what saved me. Looking back at the past two years, I cannot imagine what life would have been without my Mocha, Latte and now Chino. I cannot put a price on the experience of breeding Latte. While it was a lot of work, I am 10 times as glad that I was able to experience it all. I would not have been able to do this without your help
Again, thanks so much for all your help over the past 5 months with Latte and her babies!
Hugs,
Vivek
This man has purchased 3 babies from me : a Black and Tan, a Black Piebald and a English Cream.
Hi, Little Bit , whose new name is Mia, arrived safe. Her flight was an hour late because of the weather. She greeted us with her tail wagging. She sat on my daughter's lap on the way home. Our other dog Paddington greeted her well. Mia is following my daughter all over the house. She is so adorable. Have a Happy Thanksgiving. Until later, Jo Anna

Robyn,
It's hard to believe it has been almost a year since we got Annie, the adorable black piebald dachshund from you. I hope you guys have fully recovered from Katrina. I just thought I would give you an update and send a photo of Annie and Griffin, who are now, of course, best friends!
I always thought Griffin (my 6 year old red piebald) was the smartest and cutest dachshund in the world, and the best pet we could ever have. Well, if he is the smartest and cutest, Annie is the sweetest and friendliest! She is a wonderful little girl, and we love her so much. She is almost 18 months old now, and she has definitely settled in! She and Griffin get along great, and she is such a loving and sweet dog, I now believe we have the 2 best pets anyone could ever have....
We had Annie fixed at 6 months of age, since we have no interest in breeding her. With Griffin being intact, we were a little worried how he would react to Annie, but he has been wonderful. Once this spring when there was a female in heat in our neighborhood, Griffin got a little confused and tried to mate with Annie a couple of times, but Annie put him in his place, and I think Griffin figured out that Annie was not the one he was looking for!
I have attached a couple of photos of the two of them. I just wanted to let you know she is happy and has found a loving home. Thanks for letting us have her....

Hi Robyn,
I just wanted to say hello and let you know that the puppies are doing great and growing! We are calling the new guy Domino. I have posted some pictures on my website here: http://ux1.eiu.edu/~jlhackett/ . Domino already knows his name and will sit and stay on command. He loves to romp and play with Oscar and Chaco and when they wear themselves out they all cuddle together and sleep.
Thanks so much for the happy puppies!!
Jamie
Hi Robyn,
I thought you'd like to see some pictures of the girls in their new home. We named them Lily (the littlest one) and Ivy and already they seem to know their names. We're in the process of housebreaking and they seem to be getting the idea nicely. They are the sweetest little girls and we are enjoying them very much! They are really goofy together and have us laughing all the time!
Karen
Robyn,
We wanted to let you know how pleased we are with our puppy. He was one of the chocolates from Misha and Stanley and he is easily the best dog we have ever owned. The potty training was a breeze, he plays wonderfully with the kids, and I don't think that he knows he is a dog. He has been a pleasure to have since the day we got him. We just wanted to thank you for all that you do to make the transition of getting a new puppy so enjoyable.
Yours Truly,
The Andrews Family

Yes, Robyn, go ahead and add us to your reference page, we'd love it. The Puppy arrived safe and sound. My first impression was "She is so much more beautiful in person". She is the cutest little pup we have ever seen.
She slept curled up right next to me on the pillow last night ... (she was crying for along time in her crate, my daughter couldn't sleep, so I finally gave in ... Our other dachshund sleeps next to me and unfortunately she didn't get too close to the puppy ... I think she might be a little scared/apprehensive about this new family member).
We are continuing to enjoy her! The kids love to play with her. We are still working on a name for her. I could sit and watch her for hours.
Thank you SO much! I will continue to keep you informed on her progress (I love to take pictures).
Attached are a couple more pictures. The second one is where she met some other members of our family :)
We just got home from dropping my son and daughter off at two slumber parties. The little puppy is now exhausted from meeting all those kids ... she is sleeping in my lap now. Tomorrow she'll go with us delivering girl scout cookies and get to meet all the neighors. We did some shopping today and she slept the entire time wrapped up in my daughter's (fake) fur coat in the cart.
Take Care!
Deb
