Welcome to our Dachshund Puppies Page. Most of our Dachshund puppies for sale here at Down Home are "tweenie" in size. This is 11-16 pounds. We do have miniature Dachshund puppies, which is 11 pounds and under. From time to time we may have standard Dachshund puppies, which is 16-32 pounds. Our biggest standard Dachshund puppy would be around 16-20 pounds. We use the parents as a guide for the size of our Dachshund puppies, so your puppy's size will be determined on the size of the parents of the litter. We try to keep the availability of our puppies updated as much as we can. We apologize if one has been sold and we hadn't had the chance to mark them as sold or not. Available Puppies
This beautiful litter of 6 were born on March 5, 2024. They are using the doggie door and are crate training. They will be ready for their new homes on April 30, 2024.
We have 3 sweet babies in this litter. They were born on March 14, 2024. They are currently 6 weeks old. They will be ready for their new homes on May 9, 2024.
We have two sweet piebald's in this litter. They were born on April 2, 2024. They will be ready for their new homes on May 28, 2024.

About our Dachshund Puppies
We would like to thank you for considering one of our beautiful Dachshund puppies for sale. We have miniature Dachshund Puppies, Standard Dachshund Puppies, and of course in between, "tweenie" Dachshund Puppies for sale. All of our Dachshund puppies for sale here at Down Home Dachshunds come with a One Year Written Health Guarantee and are current on all vaccinations and worming. They are raised indoors in their own house with their moms.
These Dachshund Puppies are started on potty training as soon as they are "big" enough to go in and out the doggie door. You do not need a dog door, this just helps them have a good idea of what it is for them to go out and potty. All of our Dachshund puppies for sale play together, eat together and sleep with their littermates, of course after they are weaned from their mama. We spend many hours every day with our Dachshund puppies to ensure that when our doxies arrive at their forever homes, they are happy and well adjusted.
Each Dachshund Puppy will arrive with a puppy kit. It will include a sample of puppy food, a detailed health record, which will show the shots and worming they have had and will need in the future, information about NuVet vitamins, which they will have already started on when they leave to go to their new home, and their AKC registration paperwork.
All Dachshund puppies are sold with Pet Registration only. There will be an additional fee for full registration and breeding rights. Please let us know if you would like to breed your baby. For the well-being of our babies, we reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone whom we feel is not a good fit for our Dachshund puppies. Our Dachshund puppies are our "children", they are raised to be loved and become part of a family. They are not just a pet to us! We hope you enjoy your stay here at Down Home Dachshunds.
For your convenience, we accept most Major Credit/Debit cards and Venmo. We use what is called square for our credit card purchases. An invoice will be sent to you in an email. A Non-Refundable Deposit of $300.00 is required to hold the puppy of your choice. The remaining balance is due before any puppy is to be picked up or shipped.
